    they need to post that sign in the tourist areas to help deter crime.

    You have a point... I guess if you are not going to shoot first there isn't much point in being armed.

    thought it was a good sign, tell i saw the "Brady campaign" BS at the bottom left...

    I've seen that sign or something similar to it a couple of years ago on a bill board on I-75. It's Brady BS but it does give the thugs fair notice.

    How about a sign that says something like;

    Dear criminals, in concern for your safety be aware that armed Floridians are willing and able to defend themselves. If you must commit a violent act against someone while you are here, pick someone with plates from a state like New York or Massachusetts, they don't believe in defending themselves.

    But if you are authorized to carry a weapon, and you walk outside without it, just take a deep breath, and say this to yourself...
