Which side of the Potomac does Mom live on? VA is a very different world than DC and Maryland. 'Guess that's why the criminals prefer the low-risk environment on the other side of the GW bridge.
I'll be living at Bolling AFB in SE DC for the next two weeks...disarmed. At least there are some 20 year-old airmen at the gate with M-4's to limit the riff-raff.

Congrats on your concealability and passing your "test" lol.!
I cant see me ever having that problem, I guess its where or how you were raised. Most of the time I cant take a gun away from my mom, she will shoot it untill all the ammo is gone.
I cant even give her full AR Magazines b/c she would shoot everything I have in one sitting lol.

Good job on the carrying of the weapon and not being made. And being able to dance is a must when your other half is a girl born and raised in TX trust me you will enjoy it I have been doing it for about six months and its something new each time.

My wife always advised the teenaged boys to learn to dance and they will get the girls.
But, they never listened.
When we were taking ballroom dancing lessons, it seemed that most of the guys were coerced there by there wives.
Maybe I'm a wuss but we both really enjoyed it.
Need to start back again.
As for concealed carry, that was one of the best ways to prove you can conceal a gun during physical activity.
fortiter in re, suaviter in modo (resolutely in action, gently in manner).

You never did tell us whether it was against the law (probably would depend upon amount of alcohol served by the establishment). If so, she is correct. If not, you still violated the rule "always conceal - never reveal."

Maybe she is more of a believer now.
My mom thinks I just have my carry license so I can carry in my truck. I don't bother to tell her otherwise.

I got married so I would not have to dance again. Ok I will say it" There is only one reason guys go dancing that is to get laid."

It sounds like she was more concerned about the potential embarrassment to her if you were outed!

Mom used to insist that I disarm when I was in her home. No matter the angle, my argument always fell on deaf ears. She simply wouldn't have it.

Sometimes you need a practical demonstration to convince people that you can carry all the time and not cause a problem. You did a good job.

Mine feels much the same way. So, she comes to visit ... and I don't disarm.
