Would you disarm to meet a candidate?

Given that it is political campaign season, say one of the candidates (doesn't necessarily have to be presidential) was coming to your town and was going to be holding some type of town hall meeting. Would you go to the meeting knowing that you would have to disarm to get in?

No, if I spend the time and money to go out it's to be entertained, political speech is not entertaining enough. Then I can't carry? -2.

I don't care to meet any politicians or celebrities. If I need to contact them a letter is fine for me.

I assume that you meant if I wanted to meet him. If so, then yes I would disarm.

As I have said previously, carrying isn't the primary thing in my life. I am willing to disarm if necessary to do what I desire at that time. I don't see a murderer behind every door and post.

I wonder how I have lived so long and not carried most of my lifetime?

    Regards,
    Jerry

That would not bother me. Besides, if there was any problem to crop up, there are undercover police, secret service people with Uzi's and other high-ball firepower under their coats, not to mention uniformed officers. Would my puny P3AT make any difference compared to all the firepower the officers have?
Disarming would not be an issue for me.

I'd probably would...to meet Ms. Palin (could talk about the changes in AK since we left)...I wouldn't walk across the street to meet the rest.

Stay armed...except in the presence of the SS...stay safe!

I don't want to meet any of them that bad.

I hate politics. I do keep up with it and vote, b/c it's the right thing to do. But that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Meeting Mrs. Palin would be dis-arming.

Why do I use 230 gr. for my .45acp?
    Because I can't find a source of 250 gr!

Never understood the fascination an autograph when meeting a celebrity or sports figure or taking a picture. What the heck am I going to do with a piece of paper with their signature or picture? We have had celebrities in my office and the only autograph I wanted was on the bottom of the credit card charge slip. X____________________

Yes she does, but I doubt the SS likes them to be around her if they are not the ones carrying them.
