Excellent, and I/we will be very interested in the response.

Great letter. Very nicely put together.

Nice letter... I would take a picture of the sign as well. You never know, they could change it out for a proper one and you wouldn't have proof.

I wish I could write so eloquently...
Nice letter.
Very well done. My guess is that the next time you visit the credit union, the sign may be gone. If your money is green enough, it talks. Mine is just green and not green enough so my letter would just end up in the "what was he thinking" pile.
Very nice letter FW, to the point, supported by facts that we all know, and not sounding like you have an attitude about it.

Very nice, I have walked right by signs such as that one in the past and probably will in the future. Personally I feel if they really don't want me to carry they would do the leg work to post a legal sign, in that case I will stop doing business with them. Definitely interested in the outcome though.
Thanks,
Rock
Well writen letter. Glad we do not have to worry to much about it here.

Yes, very well written letter. As mentioned by others, we do not have a 30.06 provision in NY, but I would be interested in hearing the response from the credit union. Please keep us posted!

My local bank in Colorado was posted NO FIREARMS. They replaced the no firearms with a no cell phone sign. So I had to take my phone back to the car and lock it in the trunk after I removed the battery and locked it separately and retrieve my firearm.
I ask the branch manager why no cell phones and he said that ppl were so busy talking on the phone that they couldn't conduct business at the teller. It was meant that you couldn't have a cell phone in the building as I took it to mean (I work in a secure Aerospace facility that doesn't allow any cell phones no matter if they are turned off).
Great letter as others have already said. I too await the response. I have only seen one 30.06 sigh actually posted and it was in a TacoCabana in Rockwall ... which needless to say we don't spend a penny with now. Thanks for sticking up for what's right, and the good guys.

I hadn't been to the Taco Cabana in Rockwall... it seriously has proper 30.06 signage? Dangit... and I was excited they finally opened one a quarter mile from work.
