Yes I do. Not out of any fear but because we carry. And there is no reason to leave them in the car.
My children are grown there are times, we all go to the same service with the grandchildren, every adult is armed.
I do, I grew up in my current church and know most of the congregation (small church), that being said I dont know what conflicts everyone has in their lives and how that may spill over to a sunday or weekday service.
However when I am helping out with sunday school I do not. With kids crawling all over myself and everything else in the room, I find it to be more like to have a kid grab my hip and cause some potential problem than an actual shooting. I know that some may disagree with this, but this is my current risk assessment.
I always carry - I never tell
Why would church be any different than anywhere else I'd carry to protect myself and my family? Same evil occurs at churches as occurs anywhere else.

Yes and also does the minister
You betcha. I'm on staff at a church and carry everyday. But because we have a preschool on-site, which is a gun-free zone in Indiana, I had to be approved by our leadership to do so. Indiana law has a provision that lets the operator of the facility allow a person to carry if they're part of the security team. Our Elders gave the ok so I'm able to do so everyday. I often leave the building late at night and may be the last person there, so I definitely want some protection with me.
Yes.
Me and about 8-12 other men (depending on who is available that week). This includes at least 1 associate pastor.
We are the safety team. We also have 1 or 2 medical personnel available - EMTs, Registered Nurses, or a Doctor.
There are several on duty at each service, and at least 1 for all major non-Sunday events (like kids night).
So far we have been lucky/blessed on the safety side - no events.
But we have assisted the medical personnel on several occasions.
yes i do and you should too.
I would like to, but thanks to our Governor vetoing a recent advanced CPL bill, it is illegal to carry in a church in MI.
Live in southeast TN, carry every Sunday Attachment 67596
Our church in Texas, has filed 30.06. We are not allowed to carry concealed in the building.
That said, the security team on staff is made up of mostly trained LEO. There security plan is excellent. ...and it should be, because we have a very high-profile pastor.
