Always. I believe that our Friday night services is among the most likely potential targets for an armed attack.

Fortunately, Florida law does not require that we get permission. My guess is, and it is only a guess, that our Rabbi might not be too happy about it, so if I asked and he said no, I would then be very uncomfortable going against what I would then know to be his wishes.

Since it is lawful for me to carry, by not asking and risking his saying no, I feel that I am acting properly in deciding to be in a position to protect my family, and maybe others, if the worst were to happen.

Yes I carry in church. No I have not told my pastor, it is not required in MN or by my church. We have a don't ask, don't tell policy I guess at my church. I have checked and nowhere that I can find is my church posted.

If there is no rule against it, I would carry on the platform. Just be very careful to keep the gun concealed. I do not know how you dress, but I do not see a problem. Be aware, and dress around the gun to the extent necessary.

I carry and I have not asked, concealed is concealed. It is legal here, the church is not posted, and I have a feeling God approves (who is the real Boss of the church).

With that said, if it ever came up and I was told not to then I would either disarm or find another church.

VIRGINA - Places not allowed to carry concealed:
Places of worship while a meeting for religious purposes is being held "without good and sufficient reason" (§18.2-283)

You better have a GOOD reason!!!!

Um, I have one for ya. Christian and Jewish places of worship contain many of the World's targets.

My church has about 15000 members. Services on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. I will be darned if I dont carry once my permit gets here in a few days. With that many people there has to be at least one cuckoo and I'm pretty sure I wont be the only one carrying.
