    I messed up too.

Must preface this by saying that I ALWAYS wear my weapon and extra magazine. They leave me only while I am at work.

Got home the other day and got undressed. Didn't notice anything unusual, but was probably distracted. The next day went to get dressed, can't find extra mag/kydex mag carrier.

I must assume that somewhere, somehow, I managed to strip the carrier off my belt without my knowledge. Can't find it anywhere. Heck can't remember everywhere I went.

    Bummed...

A real bummer, nothing more maddening then losing something, especially part of your CC gear. Hopefully it'll be somewhere around the house. How does it attached to the belt, clip-on or loop through?

Well for most people who can say "always" truthfully, they usually live by a pattern. Just walk the pattern and you'll probably trip over it.

If not, you know shopping for new gear is always fun.

Check under the seat of vehicle.
I once "lost" my cell phone in my Jeep.
Fell out of pocket & rolled under the seat. It took a while to find, until I went out and checked the Jeep.
It’s so much easier now days, to "Love and honor" my wife, when she is armed, and shoots a better group than I do. (Till death do us part, eh?)

I lose stuff under the seat of my Jeep Wrangler all the time. Its one of my cell phone's favorite hiding places, and every time I tilt my seat forward I find enough change to buy an ice coffee at McD's.

x2 for walking your normal pattern. If I lose something at home, I walk thru everything I did the day before.

A "war" bag would be in order here. You know, that bag with all you CC gear that never makes it's way to the aiport!!!!! That's what I do. From safe to war bag to belt back to war bag then to safe. That's just me.

That's a bad deal for sure. I've never run across a full magazine laying in a parking lot somewhere, but I guess the possibilities do exist. Seriously though, I feel badly for you. I seem to loose pocket knives every four months or so at work due to the pocket clip hanging on something and taking them away. I hate to loose stuff. Hopefully you'll find it in one of your shoes in the closet, or it may come out in the wash! We'll keep our fingers crossed for ya.

Not to mention, some of those mags are expensive! Good luck finding it.

Personally I wouldnt. Not unless it was worth more than $50 or so.. Police in general are great & understanding individuals.. but you never know when you might get Brady do-right and you'd be surprised how much trouble a cop thats got it in for you can cause.

    Just my $0.02

Well I found the darn thing, and the most unusual place, right where I put it.

Which just reinforces my belief that I should always do things according to my plan. I stepped out of my plan, then my plan went to [Edited].

Forgot to take it off when I got to work, so instead of walking it back out to the car, I put it in my locker. Was scrounging through my locker and and found it, right there.
