One Nation Under God
Yes, the gun-grabbers won't stop until we're in the same position as the UK. Given that they prefer one candidate over another, an Obama win will move them a few notches forward in their incremental assault on our freedoms.
Yes, the world has gotten smaller, but it will always be too big to be ruled by unelected bureaucrats.
I think right to carry is somewhat in jeopardy, but Obama won't push it right out of the gate. It would be political suicide. I think he'll go after "assault weapons" first.
You also must remember, he can't sign anything if congress doesn't pass it. That could be our ace in the hole.
Absolutely, Obama is the sworn enemy of the second amendment. It is because of politicians like him that the founders gave us a second amendment. I am sure that he will put everything else on the back burner and immediately declare total war on freedom. Unfortunately there are so many fools out there putting blind faith in this empty suit who has yet to provide anything in the way of solutions for any problem. He will waffle on all his promises and try to establish himself as a pseudo-dictator who unfortunately will have a congress of dupes and psychophants to do his bidding.

I put yes, but only because I can't put no. It's a constant, ongoing fight to retain our carry rights, and our second amendment rights in general. I don't think the presidency will have a whole lot to do with it directly, but the judges he appoints could. I think we'll have a lot of other things to worry about should "you know who" be elected as well.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
I voted yes, our right to carry is always in jeopardy. That's why we must continue to support national pro 2A organizations like the NRA and Second Amendment Foundation. We should also support local grass roots organizations, like Georgiacarry in my case.

Things could easily go 'south', but in baby steps...special permits, registration, taxes on ammo, etc., just like in other places that no longer allow gun ownership.
Stay armed...VOTE...stay safe!

The Federal government is not involved with state issued carry permits.
During the anti-gun Clinton administraion we witnessed more and more states implement gun friendly laws including concealed carry and 'castle doctrine' laws. I expect that trend to continue no matter who is elected president.
The first rule of a gunfight: "Don't be there !"
The second rule: "Bring enough gun"

If Obama is elected we're in for troubled times. This economic mess came at the right time for Obama. he is benefiting from it now. There isn't a thing he did to go up in the polls. It is timing. If he is elected it will be interesting to see the reaction of islamo/facists and terrorists in general.

I voted "no", It is up to the States (now) whether we carry or not, the 10th Amendment protects us from government over stepping it's bounds(joking)
I don't think even in 8yrs, he can do anything about carrying, he can get a lot of bans through, in the right climate that is.

I think that will tax ammo and reloading componets first. Clinton tried it. Since I own and operate my own gun range I am picking up as much brass as possible.
