    Congrats...on the new permit!

    Wow! Two days? Your're lucky.

Yeah, Wayne Co. has a very CCW-friendly attitude and they were very easy to deal with. Summit Co. (where I live) has been under Dem rule for over two decades and even though they have ten times the staff assigned to processing permits, it takes them many times longer. Everyone I have talked to who has dealt with Summit Co. says that they delay the permit process simply because they can.

Of course it is valid, he got the Wal Mart validation stamp!

You DID get your photo taken with the greeter, didn't you?

Congratulations! And with a 1911 too!

There was no greeter when I walked in, must've been on lunch break (it was around noon). Also, didn't buy any ammo, I've had some problems feeding that WWB in the past, I use the remingtons for target ammo. Dick's Sporting Goods has good deals on that, prices are comparable. Um...I did get a prescription filled, does that count?

After receiving my permit, I went and unlocked my 1911 from my car safe, loaded it up and stuck it in my m-tac...man that felt good. Of course I had to go get some nachos, so I headed to my local Wallyworld. But alas!! There were no nachos. The concessions at this wal-mart was a Subway restaurant instead, so I had a celebratory club sandwich instead, hope that counts! Anyways, feels good to finally join the CCW community for real.
Got mine through Medina County. They were easy to work with, although mine took exactly thirty days.

Afterward, I went to Golden Corral and had dinner with a friend. Then I celebrated by going to Stonewall and buying a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster for my S&W Model 36, a Bianchi IWB for my Glock 19, and another speed loader for my Model 36.
I wouldn't shoot at Stonewall, but they have a very good holster selection.

Same here. I'm waiting for Florida to issue my CCW. Good thing that I am not holdiong my breath.

On a serious note, Florida stated that they are 2 1/2 months behind due to volume.
