    CHL ...but no nachos!

Well, I picked up my CHL this morning. Wayne county Ohio was great to deal with, only took two days from application to holding the card in my hand. Was a bit of a wait at the SO to turn in the app, but that's because it's the first year for renewals as well as everyone wanting to get their permit before Obama takes over.

After receiving my permit, I went and unlocked my 1911 from my car safe, loaded it up and stuck it in my m-tac...man that felt good. Of course I had to go get some nachos, so I headed to my local Wallyworld. But alas!! There were no nachos. The concessions at this wal-mart was a Subway restaurant instead, so I had a celebratory club sandwich instead, hope that counts! Anyways, feels good to finally join the CCW community for real.

All these "my permit finally arrived" posts are making me really jealous!

Congrats. It's a great feeling. You now have an option available to you that may save your life, or the life of loved ones. I hope you never have to exercise that option.

    Welcome to the club WPK.

    2 days...that's awesome.

It’s so much easier now days, to "Love and honor" my wife, when she is armed, and shoots a better group than I do. (Till death do us part, eh?)

Congratulations. But please don't write John McCain off just yet. He still could win this election.

Way to go! Of course it counts as the "Wal-Mart Stroll".

My Wally-World tore down it's snack bar not long ago. They all seem to be going the way of the "Name" stores like Subway or Mickey D's.

They can't do it in my town b/c the Wal-Mart is within the competitive exclusion radius
of both the local Subway & MacD's.

Did you check out the ammo there? The WWB is relatively inexpensive.

    Congrats.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
