Slippy hands!

I haven't had the problem with the stock Sig grips even after doing lots of greasy food or working with oils restoring flood-damaged guns etc. I could see it being an issue with some of the rubber grips, though.

maybe the answer is practice. go out to the hills, oil up your hands and practice shoooting all slippery. Good excuse for a picnic of KFC

I use the Blue Jean Draw- I learned this when I got my first pair of blue jeans as a wee brat. Oh the pockets were neat for carrying lizards and stuff, jeans clean anything off one's hands...

As weak hand goes to mid-section, strong hand had "whipped" the grease off hand from the back of leg , strong hand continues with normal draw stroke.

If seated, one wipes top of leg and continues with draw stroke.

Takes longer with sticky stuff, principle the same.

Not a bad idea to wipe weak hand on mid-section of shirt either...

I harp about gun fit, this encompasses a LOT of things. Including how the stocks/ grips actually work, how allows one a proper grip when hands wet, bloody, cold, greasy sticky....

No assurance one will have a nice sunshine day, standing on soft grass, and have all the time in the world when the balloon goes up to get a textbook perfect draw, and presentation.
