Someday in the not so distant future your wife and you will be in a time and place where she will ask " you do have your gun don't you"

    Always happens

Gun control is hitting what you aim at

I survived dinner out and the customary Wally World Walk without incident. The wife did not know that I was carrying. Kel-Tec P-3AT in a DeSantis Super Fly (Nemesis style) pocket holster.

I mailed out my UT and FL applications on the same day (Oct 14). UT cashed my check on Oct 28. That's the big one for me. As an Oregon resident, it will mean I can carry in WA where my parents and other family live. Unfortunately, FL does not recognize a non-res UT permit, so I also applied for FL (my brother lives in FL and I usually go out there every couple years, thus the need for the FL permit).

Question is, should I have expected FL to cash my check by now or is this long of a wait typical? I realize it may takes months before I actually receive the permit but I kind of figured they would cash my check as soon as the PO delivered my application.
