    "NO GUNS" signs gone.

Stopped at my favorite C-store for a pop and snack, this store has 2 entry doors, normally I come in the East door, this particular day I come in the West door, and to my horror, a no guns sign!!!!

I kinda know the manager, so I ask about the sign, she tells me it been up for a year or two, so I start the "sales" pitch and can see its going nowhere, she tells me its "Corporate" policy. She is kind enough to give me a name and phone number to contact, so I call.

After 4 calls, I finally get to talk to the District Manager. That was 3 days ago Today I stopped in and to my surprise-----NO SIGN!!!!!!

I asked the manager, and she told me they received an E-mail directing them to remove the signs.

Who's the company----Bosselmans Pump & Pantry They have 40 stores in Nebraska, and some travel centers out of state.

So even though Nebraska won't let you carry if you are not a resident, if you are traveling through stop in and support them. If you are a resident of Nebraska, now you have a business that deserves your $$$$'s so support them.......

    Sometimes good things happen.

Good for you! Way to stand up for all of us. Instead of the customary trip to Walmart for new permit holders, we'll make this store our new location. ha! Road trip, anyone?

I hope every one takes note of this. Contacting management can work. In my small Kansas town there are two "Casey's service marts. and a Kwick Mart. All were posted shortly after I got my CCL. I patronized both of them. The most convenient was Casey's.

I noted their gun buster sign on a Wednesday and e-mailed corporate the same day. On Friday I received an e-mail asking the address of the two Casey stores. I gave them the addresses and on Sunday I received a response; the signs were coming down. Monday afternoon they were gone. I have since given all my business to Casey's. (But dang I miss the jalopena sausages at KwikMart.)

So what did you talk about with the district manager?
What points did you make that you think convinced him to have the signs taken down?

    Good Job By The Way.

If NE doesn't honor my FL permit, they won't be having an opportunity to be 'honoring' my $$$......OMO.
Nice letter to corporate, but I go a bit further (no $$$).

I remember when there was only one Bosselmans, the old truck stop. Best chicken fried steak in the country! Nobody asked about guns back then, they were assumed. Every pickup had a shotgun and a rifle in the back window. None were locked, and most had the keys in them! This was before Nebraska became a welfare state with the likes of Ernie Chambers and the payment of farmers to grow no crops. The Dems really knew their business back then!

Way to go Z! It's great to see that you didn't just complain, but did something about it, leading to a positive outcome.

Yeah, people still do that here. 3 of them learned a hard lesson this last week, when their vehicles were stolen and crashed into assorted things.....

The points I made, well I wish I could say it was all my charm, and persuasive speaking abilities, but truth be told it probably has more to do with the amount of $$'s I spend in a year with the company.

When I asked the store manager, she commented something on the line that the corp. office did not know what all a CCW person had to go through in order to carry. They sell ammo in their stores, so all in all they seem to be a supporter of the 2nd.
