    Non-Resident in LA

I was on the handgunlaw website trying to plan a ccw map to make it to a friends house in Washington outside of Seattle. I live in Tx but they accept a permit from Louisiana. Do they offer a non-resident permit in Louisiana?

You can get a Utah non-resident's CCW and LA will recognize it.

Here's a recognition and reciprocity link:

I'm not worried about going to Louisiana though since they honor the Texas CHL. I'm trying to find a state close to home that Washington will accept from a non-resident.

Washington concealed carry permit reciprocity information:

Both Washington and Louisiana will honor a Utah permit. The Utah permit gives you one of the largest options as far as reciprocity (I checked, and Washington is one of the few states that honors Utah, but not Florida- Go figure. That's why I have both, there's a lot of overlap, but having both along with my home Nevada permit gives me the largest number of states that I can even hope to carry in).

+1 on the Utah permit. I just sent mine in because it, combined with my VA permit allow me to carry in 35 states.
