Why would they side with citizens? They're making money on bans. the more crime they have the bigger the government can get there. Its all down to basic economics. The fact that it will reduce crime is why it won't happen.
It would be nice to be able to travel east or west for that matter from the great state of Indiana but thanks to Il and OH I can't go in either direction. We travel south and I refuse to spend a penny in either state as it sits. We don't even order online items from either state.
I can't understand why the citizens haven't demanded it anyhow. To me its not something to ask for, its something in my great state I wouldn't accept otherwise. Our constitution isn't something that gives us the right to own a firearm. Its a contract between the citizens of this great country and the government that says "we'll honor your right to own a sidearm if you promise not to revolt and throw us all out on our asses"
BTW, this isn't illegal talk. Its in our constitution and our founding fathers spoke of it often when righting the most important piece of literature in US history.

I can carry concealed in every state in the union...wish my Illinois folks could do the same...the homicides with phones in their hands...I often wonder the outcome if that were a gun in their hands!
