It's MSNBC, the pro carry groups can't beat them. I would bet if the numbers go to our favor. Some geek assigned to the project would just add enough votes to swing it for their anti-gun agenda.

Sadly enough, I feel it will take a real tragedy. I'm talking hundreds maimed and dead, before the morons get a clue. Just one psycho with half a brain, some training, or a bomb could accomplish this. I am truly surprised it hasn't happened yet.

As much as I hated to go to their website, I went ahead and voted and then I got the hell out of there real fast before something NASTY jumped from their website to my computer.

    Still way behind. Current:

Yes; armed students and faculty could respond to a critical situation immediately.
    44%

No; allowing guns on campuses could confuse authorities in a real crisis.

Why does it not surprise me that the majority of the population still doesn't like the idea of armed students and college campus staff? The media has done a good job at brainwashing them.

As usual, I think the wording is biased but I voted yes.

Just once I'd like to see a poll where one choice is,

The classroom your child is in is in imminent danger from a gunman. Would you prefer:

A - the teachers be trained and armed to protect your child
B- the teachers be untrained, unarmed, and unable to do anything to protect your child

I agree Tangle, they worded it like anyone would be able to carry instead of licensed permit holders. But then again, what can you expect from the press.

Yes we're losing but it's not a landslide!

I voted and left a reply to the very first comment:

The poll I just voted was for CONCEALED CARRY of firearms. As a citizen with a license to carry a concealed weapon (a CCW),

    1. I have NO felony convictions,

    2. I have never been convicted of domestic violence

    3. I have no history of mental illness or drug addiction,

    4. I have passed a background check and have my fingerprints on file with the law enforcement agency of my County,

    5. I have passed mandatory training in both the use of firearms and the applicable laws.

The fact that you think that just anyone will be allowed to carry a firearm, is laughable but not unexpected as most people are just ignorant of the facts.

It was found that in the Virginia Tech shootings, Cho was shooting 3~4 people a MINUTE. How many minutes did it take for the police/SWAT to get there? How many people might have been saved had a person with a concealed firearm been nearby?

Good luck to you students who choose to keep believing a sign will ward off a criminal intent on harming innocents.
Bitter and clinging to my guns and my religion.
