Ohio and Indiana do not recognize each other's carry permits...you're good to go only because IN does recognize the OH permit, but OH does not recognize the IN permit.
You don't have to worry about OH
Going into IN from OH...is OK, but someone going from IN to OH is out of luck.
Stay out of IL...
Stay armed...enjoy the round-trip...stay safe.

So, I am legal to carry loaded in my holster?
Yes. Indiana recognizes any other state's CCW permit.

Thanks to all!!!! Greatly appreciate it. First time out of state with my OCCW!
If this is your first time to carry in another state, be sure to use the link provided above by TN Mike to check out the Indiana off-limits list, etc. Remember, you must follow the laws of the state you visit.

What's really important here is that you look at the sources of information yourself -- it's extremely risky to depend on the opinion of people in forums. The value of places like handgunlaw.us is that they allow you to form your own judgment. "Some guy on a forum said it's okay" won't hold up in court, but a site like handgunlaw.us will be well enough researched that you ought to be safe.
Coming from Ohio to Indiana, you're in for a treat. Its open/conceal carry and a lot of places off limits are NOT off limits here. Also, out "no guns" signs are just a suggestion. Our state imposes no law for such signs. Violating this will get you thrown out, but not in any legal trouble unless you refuse to leave, then its trespassing. You can pack in any place that serves liquor too. No restriction there.
Federal buildings are off limits of course, and some cities are VERY anti. If you're going to Gary Indiana, Conceal well. They've been known to "detain" people over night even when shown a permit and then taking their firearm before releasing them. Terre Haute Indiana is not open carry friendly and is probably the dirtiest town in our state. Avoid it if at all possible.
Indianapolis will not allow firearms in city parks.
Schools are off limits of course unless you're picking up someone and then your firearm can't leave the car.
I would suggest calling the local police department of the city you plan on staying in and asking if their are any local laws different that state laws. Indiana in my opinion is very laxed with gun laws and we're the second highest ratio in the nation for handgun permits. I see a lot of people half-heartedly concealing and its not uncommon to run into people open carrying.
Enjoy your trip here, and be safe!

They can't take your right to own a firearm. They can ask with force and you can answer any way you choose.

My CPL class packet included a reciprocity map w/ state by state break downs of what you can/can't do in each. So far i've only been to OH while CC'ing, so no issues there. Good call researching before crossing state lines. Would hate to find out the hard way, that's for sure. I can't go purely by my packet though, as at some point info may change and become outdated.
