Finally, the Wife is getting a CCW Permit
Its been a year since my daughter and I received our CC permit and now the wife wants one. She works for a real estate agency and has come to realize that showing homes (especially after hours) could put her in a serious situation. She also has 2 other female friends that she works with that will be getting theirs CC license as well. Unfortunately, I feel that Ann Pressley's death (a very pretty news anchor woman) has brought reality to alot of women in the central Arkansas area. I won't worry so much about my wife now and to women everywhere, please arm yourself. I hate to think of any female having an encounter with that kinda of killer
, but I hope if it happens she will send him to hell!!

Congrats on the wife's smart move.
I work in a school...just recently, the number permit holders (or soon to have them) has jumped from 5 or 6, to almost a dozen. People are beginning to wake up.
Stay armed...there's safety in numbers...stay safe!

Awesome! I'm still trying to get lil' mama in with the scene. She is now looking into revolvers for the tool. I know it's going to be a long row to ho, but we'll keep plugging away at it a little bit at a time. Good for you both!

Congratulations. I'm still waiting on mine to come around. She is...slowly. I'm betting that I'll have her legally armed within a year.

Good luck. If yours is like mine, "she doesn't like to be pushed".
Yea, mine wanted to go the revolver route too. She liked the simplicity of the revolver and had the most experience with one. I just helped, she made the decision on what she wanted.
She got a 642 and added a set of Pachmayr Compac grips to give her a little more to hang on to. (It can be a handful depending on the load.)
She's waiting on her permit.

She's already taken the plunge and really likes the Sig P250. It carries alot of ammo (15 rounds) and its easy for her to rack the slide. Several of her workmates have tried it out and are great shots with it.
