    Good job on the presentation.

I guess the other guy with all his trauma and stress isn't a good candidate to have a gun in the first place so he probably isn't concerned with others.

Maybe this will catch on, along with the other school district that wants to allow teachers to carry concealed, and then it might migrate to the rest of the CHL holders and campuses around the state.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

    Very well done Matt...
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Yeah... what "trauma" was that guy talking about...? Mid-term exams?

I dunno about anybody else, but college was one of the most stress-free periods of my life... wait till that jackass gets out in the real world... he's in for a rude awakening.

    Sam,

Good job! For a second there, I thought you were the legislator.

Well done Matt. Are you a member of the Corps. The other guy didn't sound much like an Aggie.

As a Aggie and recent graduate, I am all for CHL's on campus. I know when walking on campus from the library to my car at night I was always a little nervous and my SA was always heightened.

Uh, its not like central campus around the library is a place where frequent crime happens...
You want to feel safe, stay away from Northgate on Friday night :--

Areas around campus are changing and there has been a significant increase in gang and drug related stuff in the community recently, though it seems to typically be well removed from campus. Rarely, bgs from other nearby areas have done stuff on campus, but it is quite unusual as compared to what you would experience in almost any other community.

I think the cc on campus issue is of far more importance to folks at schools in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or even (especially) Austin. I also think U officials across the state will fight it tooth and nail, and it won't happen.

Personally, I would not be concerned on campus here, though SA is always in order.

I hope the bill will be to allow permit holders to carry at all levels of schools, not just colleges - but good on ya Matt, that was a great presentation.

One of my friends was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight in a parking lot on campus during a football game last year.

That's impossible. Don't you know they don't allow guns there?

Very well Spoken Matt.. Good luck to you....
Maybe we need a gun safety course in college just like we need taught in grade school. The reasoning of some people just amazes me.
