    She's there.

My wife is in class now for her permit (12/20/08). It seems like it took forever to find the time to get her in but she is there. Another friend was wanting to send his wife so we sent them together and that of course made it easier.

Congrats! Love it when women decide to be responsible and take care of themselves. You do realize though that those two have been talking about you and your friend ALL DAY LONG, right? Let's hope she hasn't picked up any gossip to use against you.

Congrats...on getting her to the permit stage!

Now is the perfect time to get 'matching' Kimbers for Christmas...and you might just get away with it.

That si great news, mine is sitting in her class now as well.

About how long does it take to get the license after the class is passed in TN? It will take mine at least 90 days to get hers here in TX.

They are both cheer leading coaches, so I am sure they are gossiping but she wont waste her time talking about me.

I am not sure how long it takes. I took my class over 12yrs ago and it was not to bad then, but plenty has changed I am sure. Maybe someone that has taken recently can chime in. I will flip over to our state forum and see if I can find out. I would imagine close to the same.

She passed! And yes there is a definite must to bring a new gun to the house. With Christmas here and a little extra money coming in, it will be as good as spent on a new gun.

It makes me happy this day is here. To me it is also like a new insurance policy on my guns, if i make the mistake of leaving a gun in the car and she would have gotten pulled over or in an accident (GOD forbid) LEO might have confiscated my gun, where now with my insurance policy she also can legally have the weapon as well.

However you want to look at it, money well spent........
