    Dr. visit

had a nice experience at the Dr. office yesterday. went in for a sinus infection and was carrying concealed. No signs on door. When he went to check my lungs he raised my shirt to check my lungs and exposed my gun. He never said a word. After he was done and I was ready to leave I thanked him for not getting upset about me carrying , He said no problem, you got to do what you gotta do.Nice to here since my wife was robbed the day before at work. She works at a credit union and is not allowed to carry.{bummer}. At least she wasn't hurt, just a little upset.

I like your doctor's attitude...did you ask him if he carried?

(Sorry about the wife...does she carry away from work?)

Sorry to hear about the wife. I just dont understand doesn't the credit union have up on of those sign that say "No Guns" those always keep the BG's out.

Any thoughts on her asking for a change in policy to allow CCW. I would strike while image is still in everybody mind about the danger of being unarmed.

She has asked them to change the laws but they wont. The credit union has been robbed 3 times this year. Once for her branch. The union full of sheep's.She is going to apply for her ccw after the first of the year. Right now she carries a stun gun and pepper spray. She loves guns, she took over my AK 47 after shooting it . Very good with it too.loves to go shooting with me . Her favorite pistol is her Bersa 380.NO gun signs posted. Have yet to see one around here.

I got into a conversation with my Chiropractor about guns last week. I had my 6 yr old son (who is always talking guns) with me and was explaining that I am teaching him the 4 rules and she said that more kids ought to be taught to handle guns safely. The stigma that guns are bad needs to be abolished. She mentioned she was going to buy herself one for X-mas and might get her CPL. I asked her if it was OK that I carry into the office because I have my CPL(had been leaving it in the car up to then), and she said sure no problem, she wished more people carried reguarly. I already feel good when I go there, now I feel even better.

I went to the doctors a month ago. The nurse weights me before we go back to the doctors office. She looks at my weight and says "look at that, that is my husbands favorite gun". I'll leave you to guess the caliber. After 36 years in the city, I just moved to the country and I love it.
