Have I mentioned lately how much I dislike Maryland and New Jersey?
Seriously. I have been known, on occasion, to play this little card game known as "poker"
. Now, since Atlantic City is much closer than Vegas or Tunica, it is really my only option for casino poker. The bad part is, of course, I have to leave my CCW at home here in Va, because the lovely states of Maryland and New Jersey don't trust me to carry a handgun. I drove up yesterday and played for sometime at the Borgata, and the entire time I felt like I was missing something, which I was. I have learned to really dislike that feeling.
Hopefully our brothers in West Virginia will get table games to pass at Charles Town this year and I can spend 1 hour driving to a CCW friendly state rather than 3 hours through states that suck.
Just wanted to rant. Thanks

Unless my job requires it and I cannot find another pilot to fill in, I just don't go places where I cannot carry. As simple as that.

Just be glad you don't live there. Imagine how those folks feel.

I'm going to say most of the
in that state don't care and aimlessly go about their lives pretending nothing will happen to them.

I moved from the Peoples Republik of Maryland to Florida and felt like I had been reborn! Now I am finally living in America.

Even when I was in the military station there to get a hand gun was almoust impossible!!

I have to go to the Republic of Illinois quite often because of family, but I make sure I don't spend a dime in that big pasture of sheep.

When I was living in Massachusetts I asked the police chief in the town where I was living what I had to do to get a permit for a pistol. Not even asking about concealed carry, but just possession in my home for protection. His response, "You can't get one". Glad I live in Florida now. got my permit 3 years ago and carry most of the time.
