A few of my favorite things

A few of my favorite things, one of which is the reason I started to carry!

My wife, my new AR and the setting is in our new home/sailboat.

The AR will be getting a few options (like the new JP muzzle brake and sling), the boat still is undergoing a restoration and the wife is a walking miracle.

Life ain't so bad when you count your blessings.

May you all have a good new year.

Very nice!! I like your wife's nickname. It is the same nickname I was given by the doctors who gave me up for dead 13 years ago. They still can't explain how I am still here. But I can!!! Enjoy everyday as if it were you're last, trust me, it might be!!

Congratulations Cruisr, it looks like you own some fun toys and have been given a beautiful wife to share your life with! It's true sometimes that we get so caught up in the day to day drudgery we forget all the blessings we have.

Happy New Year to you and all the forum members,
    Abraham

The boat is a 30' Hunter sail boat, aft cockpit, 1977, inboard diesel. She was pretty much a basket case when we got her, just paid cash for her. Ripped out much of the systems and interior and started rebuilding. Interior is 80% done and just got started on the exterior. She's a pale shadow of our old boat which we passed on to our son (he was raised aboard her) when my wife got sick but she's paid for! Spent 12 years on the old boat, she was a tough 37' cutter capable of going anywhere.

The AR is a Bushmaster XM15 E2S M4. Had all of 200 rounds through it and untinkered with when I picked it up.
