Unless there's a legal reason to deny your request based on past history, I would assume you've got a good shot at getting your out of state CHL.

Best of luck to ya, that's a lot of paperwork!

does N CT recognize your MA ccw? since you went through all the paperwork and time, i guess you looked at this and concluded that CT does not recognize MA ccw.

I received my non-resident Ct licence over the summer. They said 8wks, it took 13wks. It was cheap compared to our Ma lic. Also all the paper work had to be 100% squared away or they'll send it back. Good luck!

Congrats on another State won over! (You Easterners have to deal with a lot of restrictions as to who will let you carry!)

A quick check of Hangunlaw.US tells us two things about. CT. They are may issue (as opposed to something like 36 States that are shall issue or better yet, Constitutional Carry), and they do not honor ANY other State's permit/license.

Congrats! I'm currently awaiting my Florida out-of-state license (submitted 12/29) and Virginia (submitted 01/28). Virginia guarantees a 45 day turnaround, so I expect to receive it before Florida even cashes my check.

That's right CT does not recognize any other permit. They make it easy to get a non-res if You send them what they ask for. I would love to be able to get a NY non-res as I am only a few miles from NY state.

You can get non-res permits for most of the north east, check out handgunlaws.com. It is worth a visit some time.
