    Waiting for ccw? quit complaining!

Are you waiting a few months for your CCW? Quit complaining! lol

I lived a long time overseas in Norway. For fun I looked up what it takes to even own a gun there.

    1. First you have got to join a pistol/hunting club.

    2. Attend said club at least twice a week for 6 months and only are allowed to use their firearms. Most were .22 calibers and other small calibers.

    3. Submit a form to the police and request permission. They can still say no even after you proved your a member of a club. To get a rifle/shotgun you have to prove membership to a hunting club. To get a pistol you have to be a member of a sport shooting club etc.

Plus pay all the yearly fee's at these clubs...

Don't even ask about concealed carry..that is out of the question.

Now is anyone upset over waiting a few months now?

I didn't vote for him, but you really don't have much room to talk living in the peoples republic of CA do you?

Oh, and the President doesn't have power to take away all the guns, so can we please stop with the paranoid unfounded posts.

To the OP, glad your now in a more gun friendly place, enjoy your liberties.

Yeah, in TX you can walk down the street with a rifle (non assault style) and be well within the law.

    God bless Texas!

Paranoid?? The president doesn't necessarily have the power to take everyones guns away. I absolutely can see him overturning the C.C. in national parks. Picking a gun grabber to be the new Attorney General. Signing a new A.W.B. Appointing 1 or 2 Liberal judges to the supreme court. ( remember it was decided, in the Keller decesion, by only one vote that the 2A actually gives us an individual right.)
I might just be paranoid though.........

I've been hearing a lot of Democrats who aren't going to touch the gun thing this time around. Lets hope they don't sell their vote. If it doesn't pass congress, Obama can't sign anything.

Ok, the Attorney General enforces laws, he doesn't make them. The 1 or 2 liberal judges that may or may not be getting appointed will be replacing the 1 or 2 liberal judges that are close to retirement, 0 sum gain in my math. In the [B]Heller[B] decision yes it was by 1 vote, but then again, many of the courts decisions are very close. If it wasn't a close issue it would have never made it to the Supreme Court in the first place, it would have been dealt with and finalized in the lower courts.
