Is my GA permit valid after moving out of state?

I lived in Georgia until 2 years ago and I will be returning to visit family soon. My current state does not have reciprocity with Georgia. My Georgia Firearms License is valid thru 2011 and I still have it. I am still me, and I am still within the date parameters, but as I am no longer a GA citizen, and my current address is different, is the license invalid?

I know in Tx I'm required to notify when I change my address and I would bet 100-1 that a resident license is invalid once you move to a new physical residence out of state unless you are active duty military

Georgia Firearms License is only valid for Georgia Residents. It became useless the day you moved out of state.

    You need a FL License

Get a FL permit and never worry about it again.

Thanks for the replies. I was pretty sure it was invalid, but I wanted a second opinion.

I know when I moved here to Richmond from Oklahoma, my Oklahoma permit became invalid once I established residence here in VA. I would assume most states are the same.

I looked at Georgia carry .org and he is right even if you move out of state your license is still valid
