Funny thing happened at my home closing....

So I closed on my first home yesterday (pause for the applause LOL) and had a "wardrobe malfunction". I walked into the room with all the shirts (lawyer, RE agents, Sellers, my mortgage guy) and did the intros around the room. As I was buying a house I had a pretty sizable check in my pocket. I was not about to be unarmed on this day I was carrying my XD9SC in a UBG canute at about 5:30. So I go around the table to find a seat and sit on the edge to see how comfy it was. The seat was a wierd style that had about a 12" gap between the top of the seat and the bottom of the back. I realized the seat was kind of comfy so I sat back completely. In doing so my sweatshirt slid right up and over the butt of my XD. As soon as it happened I realized it and sat forward a bit and readjusted my sweatshirt. I did a quick look around the room and realized my mortgage guy had seen it. He looked at me and smirked then shrugged his shoulders and said "what are you gonna do". No one else saw anything and the thing went off without a hitch.
I knew I liked that guy (he also got me a smokin' interest rate!!).

Congratulations on your first home. I remember how exciting it was for me when I got my first. One benefit of the current economic crisis is very affordable interest rates. I'm glad that you got a good deal. And as far as your "wardrobe malfunction, you were spending a ton of money. I doubt that anyone would have said anything, when you can turn around and leave. But I'm happy it turned out well.

They were all about to make money off you. You could have shown up in your birthday suit and they wouldn't have said a thing.
