Not sure how many remember, but just over half a year ago I posted some info about the "change of guard" and how the Orange County folks have been fighting to retain the interim sheriff Jack Anderson as the sheriff. Unfortunately as I posted then, the citizens of Orange County lost the battle and have ended up with Sheriff Sandra Hutchins. Since then the Sheriff has played "footsies" with the citizens of OC and in her latest attempts to intimidate and discredit CCW holders she brought in plain clothes officers (SWAT included) to the Orange County Board of Supervisors meeting who then singled out folks who were affiliated with the CCW group and patted them down and or "inquired" about wether they're armed or not. Oh yeah, take it from me: there were more then three folks as some of those accounts imply.

Why not spy on them. California is the most socialistic state in the nation. The people of that state have given up every RIGHT they have. They believe in thier hearts that the state (Govenor,Police,Reps, Ect.) will take care of them. The Citizens of California have no one to blame but themselves. With a saying of "Not in My State" what do you expect.

WTH? We are fighting to keep our rights, our supervisors are rather pissed off about what happened and all you can do is put down CA?

Some folks comment that CA is full of antis and "odd folks". I've heard a sentiment from others that "that's why they left CA". So, yeah... that's true, we're fighting against overwhelming odds but we are fighting. We believe what's right, we are doing our best to educate the masses who honestly don't know better and without education couldn't care less and all you can come with what you came back with?

Anyways, I didn't post this to get into a ******* match, but rather to show folks what's going on in other parts of the country. Even the forgotten places like CA. Why did I post? Cause we do have quite a bit of support from outside of CA in our quest to get things back on track and I figured more might be interested.

That is very true. What we see here (in OC) is LA style tactics. That's what we get for getting a sheriff that came from LASD. I hope this kind of behaviour wont spill to the rest of the nation like the notion of the microstamping did......

I apoligize for offending you. I was born in California but I will never live there again. The very small percentage of you that are truely fighting for your rights are in for a big fight. The sheep are spreading across the west, look at Colorado. Anti-trapping was the start for them. Utah gun owners are fighting but we may be pushed to follow the west. Nevada could go first. I truely do understand what your point was but I have listened for years as Californians have voted away thier rights. Your state will not allow energy to be produced there but will gladly buy it from dirty plants in Utah or Idaho. I hope you can get your Government under control. Just remember YOU are the government.

Those from the more, shall we say, free areas really don't understand where we who live in more restricted areas are coming from. There seems to be a lot of bluster about not wanting to live in our areas, but no concrete suggestions on how to make things better.

It's frustrating, sometimes.

It's good that outrageous events like that are brought to light. Publicly and nationwide if possible. We need to shine the light on these cockroaches and hope they scatter.

FYI: I just found out that the Sheriff of OC is trying to fight the PRA request for the tapes and is trying to not release them...... Those tapes would show OCSD singling out pro CCW folks for extra "care" as well as the OCSD's attempt to monitor two Board of Supervisors members...
