I'm legal now

...to CCW that is:danceban: My permit finally came in the mail Friday. Takes 60 days in MS and that seemed like forever. I've had a Springfield 1911 style EMP 9mm for about 3 months now and have shot about 600+ rounds through it; I would recommend this gun to anybody. Got a High Noon Bare Skin OWB holster right after Christmas & have been carrying around the house since then.
Friday night my husband & I went to eat seafood with another couple for my first trip in public CCW. I was a little nervous at first, but it went great & nobody had a clue! Saturday, I did the WalMart thing but didn't take the "initiation route" of nachos & ammo as I was shopping for much more important things...like Hulk birthday party decorations (if you have a 5yr old boy, you understand).

This is a great sight, I've learned alot from this place :35:

I remember those shopping trips for birthday party decorations, although many years ago. Of course that was back before the days of WalMart. Yeah, I know I'm old! LOL

We have 5 kinds, 18 through 6 year old twins so we (my wife who carries as well, and I) understand about the birthday decorations completely!
