    Special Delivery to me...

    So I went to my new P.O. Box yesterday and what do I find but a letter from Charles Bronson, no not the Death Wish guy, the Florida Secretary of Agriculture and Consumer Services (Licensing). I have to say that the card looks pretty good behind my driver's license. Just to keep a timeline, dates are as follows:

    Nov. 3rd- Mailed in with electronic fingerprints and a bank money order.
    Jan. 15th- License issued.
    Jan. 26th- License forwarded from my old address to the new one.

    I probably would have had it sooner, but I decided to wait until I had the license to do the address change since I have 30 days to notify and have only been moved for a week- glad to see the USPS is forwarding my important mail finally!

    Had to work when I got the mail yesterday, but I think that SuperWalMart is going to be visited by a new Sheepdog in a bit.

    Help me to understand this phenomenon of going to Wal-Mart first thing after getting CCL? What is up with that?

    Its a rite of passage. You get your CC permit and then your first outing is to WalMart...For ammo, and nachos and cover garments etc...

    Its a rite of passage like when a new firefighter gets the nozzle at his first fire out of the academy. You cc the first in a public place with other people around. Un-fortunatly only wally-world near me is north in Maryland no go zone or south 50 miles accross Bay Bridge Tunnel. Had to settle for Dollar General my first time out.
