    Girlfriend finally taking class.

I finally got her to sign up, which really meant that I went to the store (FBMG) and signed her up. So she takes the class on sat. I am more excited than she is I would wager.

I hope you got her permission "BEFORE" you signed her up for the class. If she did...Congrats!! Some friendly advice though...let HER make HER choice in selecting a weapon. Shes the one that will be carrying it and will have to be comfortable with it. If you pick it out for her and she don't like it...chances are she won't carry. Good luck with it!

Yep, let her be ready before you make decisions for her. Let her decide when to take the class, when to apply and what gun she likes.
Take her to the range and let her try as many rental guns as she likes until she chooses one herself. If she asks for your opinion, fine, if she doesn't let her make her own choices.
Did she pick out your gun(s)?
That said I will admit I picked out hubby's gun since it was a Christmas gift, but it was the same one he said he would have chosen himself. The final determination was his, the recommendation was mine.
Does he love the gun, yes. Does he kiss me every night and tell me what a wonderful wife I am, you bet

I hope she follows through. If she doesn't, you will know that you moved too quickly.
