    Weak Wally World Walk

I've had a permit for years but have recently gotten motivated to utilize it a lot more by actually *carrying*.

Anyway, part of that motivation has manifested itself in finding internet sites like this to research training, firearms, holsters, etc, and in so doing I discovered that although I have had that permit for a long time I hadn't properly broken it in.

So....we recently had occasion to go to Wally World and I was packing as I do almost all the time now. As per usual the whole family split up and I was on my own.

Nachos - Nope, no nuclear cheese draped nachos, no McD's, no served food at all.

Ammunition - No handgun ammunition at all, bare shelves except for rifle and shotgun which I have plenty of.

Movie - Okay, there were plenty of movies, but movies were a theme at Christmas this year, I was given lots, and I just couldn't bring myself to blow any $ on a movie I really didn't want.

Cover garment - Nothing I wanted, I could use some socks but they didn't even have those of the kind I wanted.

That was it. My wife got the things she was looking for, we rendezvoused at the checkout and left. No zombies attacked in the parking lot and we made it safely away.

So, there's my Weak Wally World Walk, no nachos, no ammo, no movie, no garment.

But I got the check in the block, right?

Did you at least encounter an armed "security guard" in uniform with his shirt untucked, boots untied, sipping on an extra large coke with absolutely no situational awareness?

If not, I don't know if this one counts. You'd at least have had to get a BINGO on the Walmart Bingo card.

I'll give you temporary credit with the condition you "re-do" your WW walk and buy some ammo once is available. For now, the intention counts. Congrats!

Our Wally World had 3 boxes of .40 ammo today, that was their entire pistol ammo section. I wanted some .45 target ammo, but I guess I'll wait till they get more.

Not sure socks count as a cover garment. But at least the intent was there, so you get at least half a check!

Every time I've gone they have handgun ammo, but I'm in Northern IL. I'm going to the range tommorrow, so I may buy a couple of wwb, I'll let you know if they're out.

If you are planning to carry with an ankle holster, yes!

Everytime my boyfriend and I go to Wally World we look for things that are on the bingo card.

You made the effort, therefore you get checked off. As for the ammo situation, some horder who probably wasn't even carrying got there first. Not your fault. It's all OK!

If ammo is not available at least buy some targets.
