Looking for a particular past experience
About a year ago I was on all of the different forums around and came across a forum members real experience that they had shared about an actual defensive shooting that took place in their home, late at night complete with pictures and diagrams to show the layout of his house. I'm sure someone here probably knows what I am refering to. For the life of me I cannot remember what forum it was on or when exactly it was. I would do a search, but I can't think of anyway to narrow the results. If any one can point me the right direction it would be greatly be appriciated.

It was on XDTalk and I posted the link to the thread here on DC. Username was Balsac and he posted about a man, who was his girlfriends psychotic ex, busted into the apartment late one night.
Gunfire was exchanged, Balsac emptied his Glock at the bad guy, who only managed to get off one or two shots just as he entered through the living room window and over the sofa.
Out of 14 shots fired from his Glock, he hit the bad guy six times. His first shot hit the BG in the hand/magazine and the magazine fell out of the BG's gun. He also hit the BG in the arm, gut, and leg.
As the bad guy was laying on the living room floor he was still trying to pull the trigger on his weapon but it was empty.
Bad guy went to the hospital and survived. Post got deleted eventually and I have not heard from Balsac in months.

If I had to guess he had to delete it due to legality issues.

IIRC that is why it was deleted
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.

Actually SIXTO, if it is the one I'm thinking of it was removed by the OP's request since the case was not completely settled at the time. I believe it took place in FL.

Florida, it was on the airwaves extensively, maybe even a short TV special. IIRC he was never charged - valid FL SD. Sorry I can remember no more details other than the above.

I believe the incident was in Miami. It involved an ex-boyfriend acting stupidly and coming down with a case of lead poisoning. Unfortunately, the bad guy lived and was in the hospital, and I think there were worries of litigation or something else to do with the case, so the OP asked the thread to be removed, and the board kindly obliged.
From time to time, I wonder if that case was ever closed, and if we'd find out the outcome.

I'm guessing there was some sort of closure because I read his story a few months later in Concealed Carry Magazine. He gave the interview and included pics.
