I mailed mine in beginning of December, the check cleared on Monday 2/2. I'm guessing two to three months.

Purely dependent on your states policy. Here in Washington, they shall issue within 30 days with proper identification. Got mine in three weeks.

IF you SC guys are planning on carrying in GA you need to learn our crazy racist gun laws. www.georgiapacking.org has the gun laws in plain English but its down getting worked on right now.

    That is correct
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that's why it is called, Present.

I am kind of getting urker with the wait time. The "7 weeks" on there phone message is passed and now I am getting into Crunch time of when I am going to need the permit, 2 weeks from today.

I called today to see if they could check the status and left my message so hopefully I will know more when I hear back from them. I really don't want to have to disarm through half of my trip.

No, I am heading from TX to VA driving and one of my main route choices runs me through 2 states I can not carry in. I may take the second route through friendly states.
