After The Shooting: Online Resources to read?

I have read several of Ayoob's articles on what to do after a self defense shooting, but in print.

Any good online articles or resources to further educate myself?

If you're going to carry one weapon, might as well carry two, because as the saying goes, "Two is one, and one is none."

I would say that you should not say anything, and your lawyer will be your best reference. A lot depends on the situation, the laws of your area, etc.

    Thanks for refreshing my memory!

The book Armed Response by David Kenik is good too and there's two chapters dealing with what to do after a criminal has either surrendered or has been shot.

The book I just got for my CC class is from the NRA. Pretty good book shows you tips on cover and such. Really helpful read. It is called "NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection in the Home". The law part says that even tho you believe that you are 100% sure you are justified in the use of deadly force before answering ANY questions contact a lawyer. Also says that even tho the courts don't charge you or you are found not guilty if tried you still may be sued in a civil suit from the persons family. But I think here in MI they passed a law that prevents that. Not sure but I think.
Also cover the emotional part of shooting another person.
