    Half Way there!

My wife and I took our CFP class Saturday Morning. Wife needs her fingerprints done and a copy of Drivers license, I just need a copy of my DL and we can send them in.

Wouldn't you know that my scanner would die the day I needed to copy my DL?! Should have everything done tomorrow, then up to 60 day wait for the CFP!!!!!

Gratz on the future CFP. Just a question, what was the primary reason?

Remember, Utah has 60 days from when they "receive" your app. My friend sent his in (from Lindon) on Dec. 6th. They claimed when he called that they received it on Jan. 9th. 33 days to go @20 miles, I think not. Be ready to wait, he still doesn't have it.

My wife is in the waiting period too. I have had mine for 14 years, took a scary incident at our local WalMart to make up her mind. Just glad she followed through with it. Now we can shoot and train together!!

Utah has 60 days once the ACCEPT your application as complete. It takes them around 2 weeks to review and decide that they have everything. You can mark the date of acceptance when they run your credit card and amount posts to your account.

    Then they have 60 days.

I believe it was mid Jan when I paid for the CC class. I took my CC class on Sat, Feb 7.
Called to make an appointment to apply for the CC license on Mon, Feb 9.
My appointment is March 7, then 60-90 days before getting the permit.
It could be June before I get my permit... about 4 months or more from the time I signed up for the class. Glad I didn't put it off any longer than I did!

BTW... there was about 140 people taking the CC class I was in that Sat. They rented an auditorium to take care of the class work.

That is a large class. There were 13 people in mine[Sat. Feb 21] and they limit the class size to 18. Luckily I live in a small town and didn't have to make an appointment to apply. My wife and walked in the sherriff's office about 11:20 this morning and were out at about 11:50 or there abouts.

Well, that's why GOD created Kinko's. However, I'm happy that you're on your way to your permit.

Wife's little sister decided to be a stupid teenager and date a convicted child sex predator who is literally twice her age.

We've got 2 pretty little girls at home...need I say more?

We bought our guns the other day matching XD Subcompact 9mm. My dream gun, and I took my wife in to pick her own and she chose the same one I wanted, without me telling her that was my choice.

Just ordered my SuperTuck and belt from Crossbreed. Get some range time in and a chance to get used to carrying around the house and I'll be ready to go!
