    Today's Mail

    So I get home this afternoon and check the mail. Right on top there is a letter from SLED with my wifes name on it. I take it out of the box and feel it. Sure enough, there is a card is there.

    So as soon as she gets done feedng the horses, I hand her a beer and say, "you're going to Wal Mart." She says, "what?" and I hand her the letter.

    For you SC folks it was 91 days from the day they cashed the check until it arrived today. There was a letter in there too thanking her for her patience due to the high volume of apps and budget cuts.

    SLED bulk mails on Friday so if mine gets mailed this Friday Ill have it next wedesday. If not then the following wednesday.

    She aint going to Wally World till this weekend. Ill try to get some pics...LOL

    Wow, we're up to 3 months + wait time now?!

    I'm not taking the class until mid to late March. So, it will be the middle of the summer before I get mine. Oh well.

    Well the law says 90 days. That is from the time they receive your app (which is the day they cash your check). I have heard of folks going into 120 days but it is not that often. Even before the rush to get the permit the time was always around 90 days.

    So it was exactly 91 and thats cool with me.

    Yeah I'm taking the class March 21st. I signed up yesterday. The waiting does suck, but hopefully it'll go by fast.
