Carry at Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia SC?

I looked at handgunlaw.us and it seems based on the law you can carry there, unless it is posted. Does anyone know if it is posted? We are planning to go tomorrow and the last time I was there was way before I even applied and so I never looked for signs. TIA for any info.

There were no signs as of the last time I went, which was a couple of months ago.

Ok, re-reading it says you cannot carry into a publicly owned building- so would that prohibit Riverbanks? Internet search did not reveal if it is publicly owned.

Well it is also not a building.Even if it is public PROPERTY it is not a building so you should be ok.

If SC is anything like our NC laws you can't carry where you pay to get in. Like the movies or zoo.

OP be sure and look it up but I don't remember anything being said in my class (just took it last week) about about paying having anything to do with you being allowed to carry. The example given was a state park and if a sign is not posted you were allowed to carry. But as I said double check.

I don't think it is posted, and I don't think there is any problem with you going (not a publicly owned building). Have fun, I enjoyed that zoo!

There is no paid admission place exclusion in SC, I am also NC that was the first thing I thought, but they don't have that, wish NC would change that.
