    Wal Mart??

This is probably a dumb post....I've posted here quite a bit but I don't "get" the Wal Mart threads. My only experience with Wal Mart in the past month has been trying to buy 9mm and .45 ammo and they are OUT!!! Could someone please give me a five sentence explanation of this "Wal Mart" stuff? Thanks

Use the search function and search "Wally World Walk".

Rite of Passage. Once you get your CC permit you go there and carry. A search will provide much more info on the subject.

    Five sentences...

    You go to Wally World...
You walk around with your concealed weapon...
    You buy nachos...
You fill our the 'application form' for the WW walk through...
You are officially in the club...

    Pretty simple stuff, actually...

    Sure.
They are cheaper than anyone else when they have ammo.
    They sell okay ammo.
    Winchester White Box.
There's been a big run on ammo lately.

Wal Mart....can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. They still have the best deals on ammo when they have it in stock. I'll bet even the biggest Wal E World bashers and haters have been cruising through to check in the sporting goods department here lately. They won't admit to it though.

A couple weeks ago when i bought my XDm i went to the only local Wal-mart in my county that sells handgun ammo and they were almost out of everything too. What was wierd too was that the cases that are normally locked, were unlocked and the glass doors taken off.

I hate to admit it, but they also have the best prices on guns. They sell new guns for less than the used price at most gun shows and gun shops.

Example: New Marlin 336 at Wal-Mart - $349, used one at gun show or local gun shop $350 to $400. Remington 700 30-06 w/scope at Wal-Mart $477, at gun show or local shop, even w/o a scope, $600-$800 (used $500-$700).

It's not fair, becuase they buy in bulk, but I can't justify throwing out extra money when I could buy for less somewhere else.
When you've got 'em by the balls, their hearts & minds will follow. Semper Fi.

Wal-mart often sells below dealer cost, but that isn't just on firears, some times they really hurt the little guys in many fields. the only question is whats it worth to have someone back up a product or be able to ask questions, we each decide.
