Well, I got my letter in the mail. I have to be at the Gun Board for questioning on April 1. Which means I got my permit. (Don't have to go to gun board meeting if your denied) After that off to Wally World. Wonder what questions there going to ask hhhhmmm.

I also live in michigan (Traverse City) and i had to go to the gun board and they did tell one guy that he could not have it.. But im sure you are all good.. Congrats and be safe...

I am in Oakland County. did not have to go to the gun board. The Clerk's Office just mailed my CPL.

Congrats to you-you should ask the board if they have a gun board for criminals or if it only applies to the law abiding citizens.

Thanks. I am 4 weeks in on mine in Lapeer. No word yet. Lapeer just recently dropped the requirement to meet with the gun board so that is one less step.
Congrats on the permit...be sure to bless yourself and genuflect as you enter the room of the 'exalted' ones of the gun board.

I took my class at the end of Feb and turned in the paperwork on march 3 so total wait would be 4 weeks.

I turned mine in one week before you did. Hopefully my letter will be here soon.
