Unfortunately, that is the best way to go about it. I wouldn't even think about it (easier said than done) until day 60. If it comes before then, early gift. If it goes past 60, at least you've saved yourself 60 days of disappointment. Hope ya get it in record time though!!!

The waiting is the hardest part. I waited the full 90 days for my Texas CHL to arrive. I kept checking the DPS website also... don't fall into that trap - just relax, and it will come to you in time. Sorry I can't offer a quick "magic wand" solution.

A. When DPS recieved packet
B. When DPS cashed payment method
C. When DPS submitted application processing
D. ?

dont feel bad I sent off my packet at the end of january and the dps site still says proccesing application to this day
