22 Days and Still no status change

The Texas DPS received my packet March 9 and their webpage still lists my status as Certificate/License not Active. Is this normal or should my status have changed by now?

Mine took 70 days. It takes a while for them to get started, then you will see processing for a while, then complete. They are tracking wait times over at TexasCHLforum.com

Ernie, patience is a virtue. I am pretty sure that when you took the class they mentioned the long wait. As mentioned go to the texaschlforum.com to vent.

I appreciate that. I have just heard too many stories of people being rejected because of simple clerical errors and a smudged finger print. I just dont want to have to go through the whole lengthy process a second time.

I got mine last week on day 60. My status did change to "in process" or something like that. That was the status that I saw as soon as I got my log in to track status on the Texas DPS site. I think that was the only status I saw the whole time. I only checked it twice online. I was checking for the same reasons that worried you. Did I leave something out or do something wrong. As it turned out, nope, everything was correct. And mine came on day 60.
