It's been changed. Take a look at this:

HB 311 has been passed and signed by the governor. Unfortunately, the language concerning allowing CCW in parks and prohibiting gun confiscations during emergencies was stripped in conference committee. I do not know which conferee(s) we have to thank for that change. The passed bill allows for alternating CCW renewals by mail and reduces the wait time for permits to 45 days.

    No, no, no.....

    No confiscation.

And yes, it has been taken care of.

Mississippi passed a separate law after katrina prohibiting confiscation and the U. S. Congress also passed a law, signed by president Bush that prohibits confiscation during an emergency.

This is a non-issue and has been posted many, many times on this forum.

Just picked up 400 rounds of .40 S&W 165 gr. WWB at Bass Pro. They had some 100 round boxes and some 50 round boxes of 180 grain in .40. They also had some 9mm, some .38's and some .45's. They had tons of the new Winchester ammo that target loads are matched to the defensive loads in 9mm, .40, and .45. It is rather expensive though.

I just wish you could go apply for your permit any day instead of specific days at specific locations.

I picked up 150 9mm and 100 .40 of blazer brass in Brandon yesterday.
I need more funds and am currently taking all donations
Finding good carry ammo for cheaper then $1.00 a round is getting hard. There were 20 people at vans at 11:00 yesterday....guns flying everywhere...He is making a killing!!!

Well-I heard on Fox this morning-it looks like Eric Holder and his boss O-Bummer are about to push for the so-called assault weapon ban. We may never find ammo at our usual places because the hoarding will now increase.
