Congratulations! I just received my license a couple of weeks ago. It took over 100 days! But here in the low country may be a little different than in the upstate.
    Good luck!

Question since most of you are instructors from SC.
There is a thread above "unusual stop". It left me with a question.
Are you required to present your CWP to an LEO even though you are not armed at the time of the stop?

Since I travel thru several states with different requirements to notify, I have decided that I will notify on any stop where I am asked for ID even if I am not armed. I may be giving too much info but at least I won't get in trouble by not notifying when I should have but for whatever reason forgot what the law says for whatever state I happen to be in. I haven't been stopped in several years and not since getting my CWP so I don't have any first hand stories to tell. Hopefully there won't be any anytime soon.
