I've heard they are a bit backed up due to a large number of applications.

Be prepared for a long wait. I called today for my renewal and it took +30 minutes to get through. They have an email form now too if you don't want to wait on the phone (it took two weeks for the email).

Yes, they are very busy, but you will find them to be very helpful and friendly...they treat CCW permit seekers respectfully.
Keep trying...hang in there.

When you call ask to speak to a supervisor and keep calling back until you do get connected to a supervisor. The front line phone people either don't know much or lie. We still haven't figured out which.

I submitted mine 1/20 so they should have had it by 1/22..it's been almost 80 days. They cashed my check 3/3. I called about a week ago and they had no information, it hadn't been issued and to call back later for some reason..it's getting close to 90 days but I think they for some reason think it's 90 days from when they cash the check. I did electronic fingerprints as well which should have saved some time.

I called today for mine also. I submitted the application Jan 15. They told me today that they were still processing apps from Dec. My uddy called for his which he submitted a week before me and they told him the same thing. They told both of us to call back in 4-6 weeks, and not to expect any results until late May.
Each time we've called same answer...not until about end of May for when we submitted ours. And I actually got teh application last Oct but just procrastinated. Sucks for me.

They usually don't cash the check till they process. My check was cashed and 3 days later my CWP was mailed... 65 days after mailing it in

Today's is only the 99th day of the year so you are at day 77 from receipt.
Moist of the ones being issued are arriving at around the 100 day mark but some are going higher. Check the time lines on the forum I referenced in my other post.

I got mine late last year about 100 days. My buddy didnt send his in til December and didnt get it until last month. They are very backed up but I (and my buddy) found the people answering the phones to be very helpful. Keep in mind we were both nice to the person answering the phone because we reallized it wasnt her fault. I am sure they deal with som real jerkwads and are happy when they get someone nice. Happy carrying
