Wally Walk.....At Last!
Well, finally did the Wally Walk, I know, I know, it's about time.
Started off the day taking the dog for a walk about the neighborhood, armed of course. Met up with someone looking for lost puppy, took my dog home and went back to help look for puppy (awwwwwwww!).
Did yard work, Rossi .38spl planted firmly in a small IWB holster. Wife didn't even know.
At last, the weekly trek to Wal-Mart, and into Ohio from West Virginia. Yes, I checked, we share reciprocity with the Buckeye State. Sauntered about Wally World with wife, met up with people I knew, and just had a grand time as if nothing was even different. No one knew Mr.Rossi was tucked underneath the sweatshirt in the Gunmate IWB holster. Oh, the 5 extra rounds of .38spl were in my jeans pocket, totally unobservable.
Checked out the ammo counter and devoid of what any good CCW person would want. Gathered our food items, no nachos, the place doesn't have them. I did however get Hillshire Farms BEER brats which we took home and grilled.
I am pleased that I finally got the Wally Walk under (or should I say inside) of my belt. The Bingo card however was a total loss, only two + the free space were there. Better luck next time.

Nice work trooper! Where are you at in WV? I just moved from there.

At this point, just loose rounds, haven't got the speed loader yet. Working on that.
With the S&W 9mm (see avitar photo) I carry one extra mag if I pack it.
The M-1 Carbine with the two 30 rd mags is a bit much to conceal!!!! But I will do better next time.

JoJo, I believe that's a model 39-2, isn't it? Got one myself (my first centerfire pistol) and it's a sweet gun!

What's not illegal is legal so don't be afraid to carry with a valid CCW permit/endorsement unless a sign is posted on the door.
As for buying ammo. Wally world gets shipments almost daily. The problem is hording and other resellers are buying and as soon as the truck is unloaded. Some of these people are shooting ranges that just can't get ammo any other way. Without ammo on hand, they can't stay in business.
My wife waited and bought all available after waiting for the truck to arrive.
I got 4000 rounds of 9mm, 1000 rounds of .380, 2000 rounds of 45 ACP and 2000 rounds of 22lr. Just paper target rounds but better than nothing.
