Not if you get a license, concealed weapons license, as an individual.

If you apply as a Private Security or Corrections Officer then yes.
I am consistently on record and will continue to be on record as opposing concealed carry.

It was my understanding that the records have to be kept private by law.

Per section 790.06, the Dept of Agr & Consmer Serv shall maintain an automated listing of license holders and pertinent information and that such a listing will be made available on line upon request to Law enforcement agencies through the FL Crime Information Center.

Per section 790.0601, Personal identifying information shall be kept confidential, but disclosed for the following:
    - with the permission of the licensee
    - by court order with good cause
    - by LEA in connection with law enforcement duties
This section is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and shall stand repealed on 2 Oct 2011, unless reviewed and saved from repeal.

All of this is summarized. You can look up the specific sections for details.

I think it was couple of years ago when the law was passed, to make them not public record, after one of Orlando's finest media published a list.

I work for a state agency that keeps it from public record even if the law wasn't that way, but I'm glad they changed it. No one's business.

thanks guys yes I think its absurd to publish or make available the fact I've applied for and was granted a license to carry. Its no one's business in my opinion glad to know its kept confidential here in Florida. I know in some states is either published by new papers or they are public record.

I will second that. About 5 years ago, CCW records were privy to FOIA. A number of newspapers around the country were printing lists of the CCW holders in their states including an Orlando paper (wish I could remember which one, proby a pro disney one). Anyways, a law was passed shortly afterwards making the records private.

Fascinating how records that includes a persons SSN and/or date of birth are not automatically made confidential. Was a shock when I got a birthday postcard from the area's State representative. Clearly the Board of elections has no problem giving away my name, address, DOB and party affiliation away.
