What's the current waiting time in Florida for a CWP?
According to the last 5-6 individuals I know who just received them, I'd say 90-100 days...they are 'swamped'...
(Renewals are no quicker.)

I know several people that mailed applications second week of Feb. 09, and were informed upon calling that the apps. were logged in second week of Mar. 09, and to "expect to wait at least 60 to 90 more days due to backlog". Also was informed that even though they have hired temp staffing, not everyone is up to speed as yet.

I got my Florida CWP license today. I mailed it on January 19th.
Electronic prints, and no requests for more information.
I called this morning to inquire, and they told me it had been mailed on the 7th. when I checked the mail this afternoon. . . there it was.
so. . . 91 days door to door. It is improving a little :-)

I am hearing 95 to 100 days from a buddy of mine who is still waiting. He just called them again and that is what he was told

I had been waiting about 85 days - when in the post last week they requested further info - they needed a copy of my alien registration card (which was never a part of the application - alien # and social was all that was asked for - NOT a copy of the card itself) so now I have no idea how much longer I will have to wait.

My brother-in-law just got his about 3 weeks ago and he sent it in just after the New Year. I had my renewal sent in and got it back in about 30 days. I guess they are pretty far behind and will be for a while.

My renewal last month was 4 weeks.

90-100 days is about going rate for the time being. Since Obama presidency applications sky rocketed.
