My wife is now on my side

My wife was ANTI gun for many years, until now. I took her out the other day to go shooting and she shot my Taurus PT111 and now she loves it. She can't stop! I went down to the gun shop and got her a pink Taurus 9mm and she is in love. I just got home from work and she told me she signed up for the NRA safety class to get her CC. I work fast!

Excellent! My wife has her CWP and I couldnt be more proud of her. Obviously, you're proud of yours as well.

    Good for you, and her!

That's awesome bro! I did the same for my wife, only she picked out a S&W M&P 9MM. I advised her to get something smaller, but that is what she wanted.

    Congrats!

Awesome! Good job man. I took the girlfriend to the range last week and she loved it. Now shes asking me when we can go back. I need to start looking for her a gun now.

When we were dating, I bought her a 22 rifle and took her shooting, I'm very firm when it comes to safety and she took it a bit personal. After that she took a hunter's safety class and told me she never wished to shoot again or words to that effect.

Good for you and good for her!

My wife was a liberal and anti gun for years. The trick is getting them to shoot just one time. Something low caliber of course. I believe liberals and conservative types alike find themselves feeling empowered once they give shooting a try. First my wife wanted to go to the range with me. Then she wanted her own gun. Then she got her CCL. Then she starts talking about joining the NRA and the other day she said she wants a knife. This is a lady who grew up in the city and was never around any type of guns.

The best person to introduce some wives or girlfriends to shooting is another lady. The problem is finding that lady. Unfortunately, introduction to handguns requires careful instruction regarding safety and some women must feel like they are being talked down to or admonished. Sort of like some women are intimidated by auto mechanics.

I had a simular experiance with my fiance. She was a complete anti-gun liberal. Then I convinced her to come with me to the range once. She was instantly hooked.
