You know, I was thinking about this post, and I’ll have to say my wife and I have been doing that for the past 20 years.
If she can tell, she lets me know before I leave the house, so I can change carry method, clothing, or if I’m in a hurry change out to a pocket gun.

Congrats; went out with my wife last weekend, carrying and she didn't realize it until we were back home and I was taking my holster off for the evening. I was happy knowing if she didn't pickup on it right away, then probably most people we contacted weren't staring suspiciously at my right side wondering what the protrusion was. It must be in my head...

Congrats, Harv, sounds like you conceal your handgun well. What handgun were you carrying and how were you carrying it?

It was probably in your head but it does take time getting used to. You "know" it is there. The sheep aren't out roaming the streets trying to call out a CC person. Before ya know it it'll be second nature to ya.

I have several trusted friends (as well as my wife) who I have told "TELL ME" if they see my weapon at any time. So far, no one has mentioned anything.

How do you like the Charles Daly? I have never handled one.

Its a good piece. Its more or less a re-badged Rock Island tactical 5in 1911. Shoots really well. Puts the holes where I want em at 10yards and I can keep it on the paper at 25yards(really need to slow myself down so I can get some good long targets)
